BioI like to think of myself as a benevolent agent of chaos. Whenever possible, I try to be the tiny devil on your shoulder, telling you to do the things that you secretly want to do. I've loved music - particularly dark and powerful music - for the whole of my adult life. Goth, industrial, the angrier side of neofolk (corvus corax, hedningarna, hagalaz runedance) and Weimar era cabaret music are particular favorites. I update my profile once per decade, whether it needs it or not. I'm currently living in Champaign, finishing up my dissertation and commuting to Chicago, where I teach. I will not miss that drive. Not even a little.
